Westlake Park has reopened after a long-planned redesign led by Seattle Parks and Recreation and the Seattle Parks Foundation.
The remodel demolished the park's original 1988 fountain and arch, replacing it with new planters, landscaping and vehicle barriers using crash-rated bollards. The $4 mil. renovation also includes electrical upgrades and improvements to the stage.
